Rosendal – åpne ordre i NXT

This policy covers the Rosendal browser extension that opens sales orders, purchase orders and products in Visma Business NXT. It describes version 0.5.0. It does not replace the privacy policies for Maskinkart, Visma or your browser.
Purpose and information used
The extension opens a sales order when you click its order number in Maskinkart’s service planner. In the popup you can choose sales, purchase or product and enter the corresponding number. You can also select a number on a web page and explicitly choose a sales, purchase or product action from the browser context menu. Only the selected text is passed to the extension for this action; it does not read the surrounding page. It reads the requested order or product number, selected shortcut type and the page content needed to locate the search controls, check the company and confirm the matching order or product in NXT.
The extension checks the relevant page address and company title to ensure that it operates on the intended page. It responds to clicks and keyboard interaction to start or cancel the operation; it does not record keystrokes, browsing history or behavioural analytics.
Local storage and retention
The order or product number, selected shortcut type, associated tab identifier, start time and progress status are temporarily held in Chrome session storage. They are removed when the operation finishes or the tab closes. Requests older than 15 minutes are rejected and removed when next checked. Session storage is cleared when the browser session ends. The extension does not use Chrome Sync to synchronise this information.
Transmission and sharing
The requested order or product number is entered into the NXT search interface, which processes the search through Visma’s service using your existing access. The extension does not send order or product information to a separate extension backend, advertising service or analytics service. Rosendal does not sell extension user data or use it for advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions.
Information is used only to provide the order and product opening feature. The extension’s use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Authentication and security
You must have an authorised NXT account and access to the requested order or product. The extension does not collect or store passwords, authentication tokens or authentication cookies, and it does not bypass sign-in or access controls. Its page automation operates only on the configured Maskinkart service planner and Visma Business NXT HTTPS sites. The context-menu permission allows you to submit selected text from other pages without granting the extension general access to those pages. Invalid selections are rejected and are not sent to NXT. All extension code is included in the extension package.
Your choices
You can cancel an operation, close its tab, disable the extension or uninstall it. This stops further extension processing. It does not delete orders or other records held in Maskinkart or Visma; those records remain subject to the respective service’s access and retention rules.
This policy page
This page has no analytics, tracking scripts, forms or external fonts, and sets no cookies. Serving the page requires processing normal connection information such as your IP address and request details. Infrastructure providers may process technical information to deliver and secure the service.
